A logo is not a brand.

There is a lot of confusion out there about the terms "brand," "logo," and "identity". Understanding what a brand is and how it is created will not only help you create a more meaningful logo, but will help your business in it's efforts to connect with your target audience.

What is a Brand?

A brand is an emotional experience tied to your corporate image. A brand is something that is formed by those that interact with your brand, your audience. As a designer, I help you lay the foundations for a strong brand by helping you understand your identity, creating strong visuals that make up that identity, and creating a powerful logo mark that will trigger the emotional response your audience has with your brand. If you are looking to build a brand, I can help you lay the groundwork with my "Best" package option.

What is an Identity?

Your identity is who you are, but more importantly, why you are. I help ensure that the values that make you unique translate to your visuals. This is what your clients will connect with and is perhaps the most important element of your brand.

What is a logo?

The logo is the mark that acts as the face and first impression of your brand. You might be a keeper, but your face is often called the money-maker. Your logo needs to be strong and memorable, and most importantly, connect your audience to your brand.
